Keychron has launched a new gaming mouse in China, the G3 Air, priced at 599 yuan ($88). It is now available on JD.
com.
Key specifications
The G3 Air weighs just 43 grams, achieved with a solid shell made from a composite material containing 30% carbon fiber.
This allows the exterior plastic to be only 0.65mm thick while maintaining structural strength.
The internal frame uses a cross-brace design for added rigidity. The mouse measures 120 x 63 x 38.3mm, making it suitable for small to medium hands.
Its symmetrical shape with a narrower middle and wider back supports palm, claw, or fingertip grips.
The matte, textured finish improves grip, and the bottom has standard 100% PTFE feet for smooth gliding.
Inside, the G3 Air is powered by a PixArt PAW3950 optical sensor and a Nordic 54L15 controller.
The sensor offers up to 30,000 DPI, 750 IPS tracking speed, and 50G acceleration. Lift-off distance can be adjusted among three settings.
The main buttons use TTC Falcon micro switches, rated for 80 million clicks. Connectivity options include wired and 2.4GHz wireless, both supporting an 8,000Hz polling rate.
Keychron includes a dedicated 8K wireless receiver with a small built-in color display.
This screen shows real-time information such as DPI, polling rate, and the remaining battery capacity of the 200mAh battery.
The G3 Air comes in black and white color options. Users can customize sensor settings, polling rates, and button layouts through Keychron's desktop software.
