Obsbot has launched the Meet Flip, a compact 4K webcam priced at $119. Instead of a plastic shutter, it uses a folding mechanism for privacy.
After debuting in China last month, the camera is now available worldwide through Obsbot's website, Amazon, and select retailers.

Design and Key Specs
The Meet Flip's lens folds downward into the base, covering the lens and automatically putting the device into sleep mode.
Opening it wakes the camera.
Weighing 37.7 grams, it includes a built-in unibody clip for laptop screens and external monitors. A standard 1/4-inch thread on the bottom allows tripod mounting.

Inside, the webcam features a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It records 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps.
Phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) helps lock onto subjects quickly, reducing focus hunting. HDR support balances lighting, such as when sitting near a bright window.
For audio, it has a dual-microphone setup with one directional and one omnidirectional mic. Four audio modes are available: directional, dual-directional, omnidirectional, and raw stereo output.

The Obsbot Center app adds auto-framing and gesture controls for zooming or tracking.
AI Magic Notes provides meeting transcripts and summaries across Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet, but it's a subscription service with 120 free minutes included.
The Meet Flip connects via USB-C and supports Elgato Stream Deck and OSC/API protocols.

It is also plug-and-play compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2 for direct gameplay recording and streaming.
