Fresh leaks have surfaced detailing the camera system of the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE, offering an early glimpse into what Samsung’s next Fan Edition phone might bring.

According to Android Authority, the device carries the internal codename “r14,” continuing the naming pattern seen with the S24 FE (r12) and S25 FE (r13).

Expected Camera Hardware

The main camera is said to feature a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN3 sensor, the same unit used in the S25 FE and S24 FE.

It measures 1/1.57 inches with 1µm pixels, an f/1.8 aperture, a 24mm-equivalent focal length, dual-pixel PDAF, and optical image stabilization.

For telephoto shots, an 8MP OmniVision OV08A1 sensor is tipped to deliver 3x optical zoom, with an f/2.4 aperture, PDAF, and OIS.

Two additional 12MP sensors are expected: a Galaxy Core GC12A2 and a Sony IMX825.

It’s not yet confirmed which one serves as the ultra-wide and which as the front camera, but based on recent Samsung devices, the IMX825 (used as the selfie camera on the S25 FE) is likely the front sensor, while the GC12A2 (previously seen on the Galaxy A37) would handle ultra-wide duties.

All cameras are said to support 4K video at 60fps, while the main sensor also adds 8K recording at 30fps.

Other Rumored Specs and Pricing

Beyond the cameras, the S26 FE is rumored to run on Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset built on a 3nm process, pack a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging, and feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Dealabs hints at a possible official reveal around September 1.

In Europe, the 128GB model is tipped to start at €799, about €50 more than its predecessor, with higher storage options expected to carry modest price bumps.

Overall, the leaks suggest Samsung is sticking with proven hardware and refining performance rather than overhauling the camera system for the S26 FE.

The dual-stabilized main and telephoto combo, solid video options, and updated internals should appeal to fans seeking flagship-adjacent features without the full flagship price.
