Former Green Bay Packers star Ahman Green has shared that he has Parkinson's disease.
The franchise's all-time leading rusher disclosed the diagnosis on the "Go Long with Tyler Dunne" podcast, saying he received an official early-onset Parkinson's diagnosis in January 2025 after experiencing symptoms for years.

Green, 49, initially kept the news private, telling only family and close friends, but has now decided to go public.
He described early warning signs, including his feet twitching while he slept. "I knew something was going on long before [the official diagnosis]," he said.

The former Pro Bowl running back noted that his short-term memory is "trash" and he struggles to remember names.
Green, who set a franchise record with 8,322 rushing yards in Green Bay and also played for the Seahawks and Texans, said he won't let the disease control his life.

"I got the reins," he said. "I'm in control.
I'm not going to let this control me."

Green is not the first Packers star to face Parkinson's in recent years. His former quarterback, Brett Favre, revealed he had the progressive brain disorder in late 2024.
