Bart Edmiston Jr., a friend of Nolan Wells, is taking legal action against an OnlyFans model who has been speaking publicly about the investigation into Wells' death.
Edmiston's attorney, Russell Latino, sent a cease and desist letter to social media personality Kymbra Li on Wednesday.

The letter claims Li has been making false and defamatory statements about Edmiston on her social media channels.
The five-page legal threat, obtained by TMZ, alleges that Li falsely claimed Edmiston helped cause Wells' death and participated in a cover-up.
Latino also asserts that Li published Edmiston's address, photos of his home, property records, and information about his family's workplaces.

This allegedly exposed Edmiston and his family to harassment and physical danger.
The lawyer demands that Li make her Edmiston-related posts private while preserving them as potential evidence, stop publishing his personal information, and issue a public apology acknowledging she had no factual basis to implicate him in Wells' death.
Li has five business days to comply, though Latino says Edmiston may sue regardless.
Edmiston recently retained Latino amid a wave of online allegations linking him to Wells' death.

His family says Edmiston voluntarily turned over his phone, photos, videos, boat, and GPS data to investigators.
Latino notes that law enforcement has not identified Edmiston as a suspect or person of interest, despite Li's alleged claims.
In a statement, Latino said, "I love when little dogs think they are big dogs.
