The Xiaomi Smart Storage Power Outage Protection Power Supply is now available in China on Xiaomi Youpin at an introductory price of 349 yuan (approximately $49).

The device is engineered to prevent data corruption and file loss during power interruptions.
It houses an 18Wh lithium-ion battery that provides enough power for the connected NAS to complete a safe, normal shutdown when the main power drops.

Once electricity is restored, the UPS automatically powers the storage unit back up, making it accessible on the network without manual intervention.
Setup is straightforward with a plug-and-play design that sits between the existing power adapter and the storage device.

No extra USB data cable is needed for communication, helping to keep the desktop tidy.
The UPS is compatible with original Xiaomi power adapters delivering up to 12V/8.5A.
