Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Monitor Light Bar 2 on its Youpin crowdfunding platform in China.
The campaign starts at 10:00 AM on July 15, with the light bar priced at 259 yuan (approximately $39).

The second-generation light bar focuses on reducing glare.
It uses a redesigned asymmetrical lighting layout with a 20.8-degree shielding angle, directing light only onto the desk surface and away from the user's eyes or screen.

Xiaomi describes it as a “light without visible glare.” The device incorporates 108 custom full-spectrum LED chips to minimize harmful blue light while simulating morning sunlight.
Color accuracy ratings include Ra 96, R9 95, CQS 98, and Rf 97. The light bar also exceeds the AA-grade standard for reading lamps in brightness.
Depending on mounting height (40cm, 45cm, or 50cm above the desk), maximum illuminance ranges from 1,100 to 1,800 lux.

The bar extends to 50cm and comes with an upgraded clamp compatible with monitors of 1000R to 1800R curvature and thicknesses from 5mm to 65mm.
A wireless dial allows users to adjust brightness and color temperature.

It can also save custom presets for work, study, or relaxation and integrates with Xiaomi's HyperOS Connect ecosystem for smart home control.
