Lil Wayne has confirmed he and Madi Cannon are no longer together. The rapper addressed the split in a video, clearing up rumors about their relationship status.

He stated they were never engaged, despite speculation that began in May 2026.

Wayne described the relationship as "a beautiful thing going with an amazing person," but said he didn't want to be a burden on her.

The breakup may also explain why he missed the opening show of his "20 Years of Carter Classics" tour in Maine on June 30.

Wayne cited migraines and potential seizure risk as the reason for the no-show.

He has since started the tour, but faced backlash after arriving late to a Friday show in New Hampshire.

The Maine concert has been rescheduled to July 28.
