The incident occurred after England defeated Mexico 3-2 at the Azteca Stadium on Sunday.

As players and fans reveled in the win, Henderson tripped over an advertisement structure and hurt himself while trying to break his fall.
Manager Thomas Tuchel described the injury as "quite serious" and confirmed that Henderson was taken to a medical facility for treatment.

Henderson did not feature in the match but received a yellow card for arguing with a referee.
