OnePlus is reportedly planning to equip more of its upcoming smartphones with 185Hz refresh rate displays, according to a tipster.
The company is said to be making 185Hz panels a standard feature across its lineup, including mid-range devices.

Tipster Smart Pikachu claimed that OnePlus intends to introduce the high-refresh-rate screens on both flagship and mid-range models through a new display strategy.
Currently, several OnePlus phones feature 165Hz displays, such as the OnePlus 15, Ace 6, Ace 6T, Ace 6 Ultra, 15T, 15R, and Nord 6.

Among these, the Ace series and the 15T are exclusive to China, while the 15, 15R, and Nord 6 are available in select global markets.
The leak suggests that successors to these models could all adopt 185Hz refresh rate displays.
This implies that the OnePlus 16R and Nord 7 may also feature 185Hz screens, alongside the OnePlus 16.

In China, the next-generation Ace 7 series is expected to come with 185Hz displays across all variants.
The OnePlus 16R and Nord 7 are not likely to launch soon. The 15R was announced in December 2025, and the Nord 6 debuted in April 2026.

Based on OnePlus's previous release timeline, their successors are anticipated to arrive in late 2026 and early 2027, respectively.
