Andy Cohen became emotional on Thursday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live as he mourned the loss of a former Bravo employee.

Cohen revealed that Kyra Samson, a 28-year-old former production manager for the network, died Tuesday after a battle with brain cancer.

Samson worked at Bravo for four years.

Cohen described her as "known for her sweet smile and gentle demeanor," adding that she could also use her strong voice to manage large crowds at BravoCon when needed.

He said Samson will be deeply missed by everyone at the show and all who knew her.

Cohen encouraged viewers to donate to a fund set up in her honor to support cancer research.

As of Friday morning, the fund had raised nearly $300,000 toward a $350,000 goal.

Cohen concluded by saying the thoughts and prayers of everyone at Bravo are with the Samson family.

Kyra's father, David Samson — a podcaster and former president of the Miami Marlins — shared news of her death on Wednesday.

He said she passed away after a nine-month battle with glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer.

"While her life got stolen from her, she handled these months with courage, poise, and resolve," he wrote.

"And all I want is for no family to feel what we feel today. For no young person to suffer the way she did."
