Acer has introduced the Predator Atlas 8, a handheld gaming device designed to deliver PC-level gaming in a portable form factor.
The new device targets gamers who want to play demanding titles away from a traditional desk setup.
Specifications and Features
The Predator Atlas 8 runs on Intel's Arc G-Series platform and can be configured with up to Intel Arc B390 graphics.
It supports ray tracing and Intel XeSS 3 AI-powered upscaling for smoother frame rates in demanding games.
The device ships with Windows 11 and includes access to Xbox Game Pass, allowing users to play a wide library of PC games directly on the handheld.
It features an 8-inch WUXGA touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate, VRR support, and up to 500 nits brightness.
Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC coating reduces reflections.
Under the hood, the Atlas 8 offers up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage.
Acer equipped it with an 80Wh battery and a dual-fan Predator AeroBlade cooling system with a thin metal fan for improved airflow.
Connectivity includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.
The handheld also features dual speakers with DTS Ultra audio, Hall-effect triggers, full-size joysticks, and a dedicated PredatorSense button for gaming controls and performance settings.

Acer confirmed the Predator Atlas 8 will be available in North America, EMEA, and Australia starting October 2026.
