Tate Paul is not giving up his fight for a temporary restraining order against his ex-wife, Taylor Frankie Paul.
After a judge denied his initial request, he's now asking the court to reconsider.
Court records show Tate filed a motion for reconsideration, arguing the judge should revisit the decision. Along with the motion, he submitted several exhibits, including text messages.
According to Tate, the texts show Taylor refusing to disclose why she was receiving inpatient treatment and keeping him in the dark about a mental health crisis.
He also claims she admitted to stopping her assaults on boyfriend Dakota Mortensen when he records their interactions.
Tate also submitted call logs and text messages involving members of Taylor's immediate family, hoping this evidence will convince the court to change its ruling.
A source close to Taylor told TMZ the judge's ruling is clear, noting she recently had the children for a week.
The source added that Dakota and his friends are ramping up baseless attacks to hurt her, disregarding the impact on the children.
As previously reported, Tate originally sought the TRO after alleging Taylor's behavior had become increasingly erratic and claiming he feared for their children's safety.
He also pointed to her 2023 barstool throwing incident, in which she pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.
Now, Tate hopes the additional evidence will be enough to change the judge's mind.
