The pocket camera market has a new rivalry.
For years, DJI dominated with its Osmo Pocket series, but Insta360 has entered the arena with the Luna Ultra.

Pricing and Availability
The DJI Osmo Pocket 4P starts at about 3,799 yuan in China (around $525 USD), with global pricing expected between $649 and $699.
However, it cannot be sold officially in the US due to DJI's inclusion on the FCC Covered List.
The Insta360 Luna Ultra is available globally for $769.99, including in the US. It went on sale immediately after its June announcement.
Which One Should You Choose?
If you are outside the US and prioritize image quality, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P is a strong choice with more storage and faster charging.
Its established ecosystem and tracking technology are also advantages.
For US creators or those who want 8K video, a detachable screen, and Leica color science, the Insta360 Luna Ultra is the better option.
