The report, obtained by TMZ, states that Brown consumed several alcoholic beverages prior to the incident at his home in Chaptico, MD, on February 24, 2026.
However, he tested negative for drugs.

Brown suffered catastrophic, life-threatening burns that penetrated deep into his skin and tissue. His blood carbon monoxide level reached 71 percent.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Maryland ruled the death accidental, caused by smoke inhalation and diffuse thermal injury—tissue damage from excessive heat.
