The official cause of death for Bobby J.
Brown, known for his role in 'The Wire,' has been confirmed as diffuse thermal injury and smoke inhalation, according to the Maryland Medical Examiner.

The actor died in February after a barn fire at his property. The manner of death was ruled an accident.
Brown entered his barn to jump-start a vehicle when the fire started.

He called a family member for a fire extinguisher, but the barn was already engulfed in flames by the time help arrived.

Brown was 62 years old.
