A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed key specifications of the upcoming iQOO Neo 12.
The phone is reportedly being tested with a 6.83-inch flat display offering 2K resolution and a minimum 165Hz refresh rate.
The company is also evaluating an even higher 185Hz refresh rate for the panel.
The iQOO Neo 12 is said to be powered by last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
It is also expected to feature a dedicated display chip for enhanced gaming and graphics performance.
In terms of battery, the engineering prototype reportedly packs a battery with a capacity starting with the digit '9,' suggesting it could exceed 9,000mAh.
iQOO is also testing an even larger battery option while retaining 100W fast charging support.
Other expected features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and a top-tier water resistance rating, although the exact IP certification has not yet been revealed.
Details about the camera setup are not yet known.
However, considering it is a performance-focused device, it may feature a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera setup and a 16-megapixel front camera, similar to last year's Neo 11.
The tipster did not mention a launch timeframe in this leak, but the launch is likely to be announced in October this year.
