Redmi has confirmed key specifications of the upcoming K90 Ultra, set to launch on June 30.
The device will feature a 6.83-inch flat display with a 165Hz refresh rate, M10 display material, and peak brightness of 3,500 nits.
Display and Gaming Features
The panel includes Xiaomi's Qingshan eye protection technology and gaming touch enhancements.
Over 40 games are optimized to run at native 165fps, making the display a highlight for gaming.
Battery and Charging
The K90 Ultra packs an 8,550mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery with 16% silicon content.
It supports 100W wired fast charging, 22.5W wired reverse charging, and motherboard bypass charging to reduce heat during gaming.
Landscape network optimization and dedicated gaming audio features are also confirmed.
Performance and Cooling
Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a D2 dedicated gaming display chip, the phone includes an active cooling system with an 18.1mm fan.
Redmi claims it can reduce temperatures by up to 10°C within 100 seconds while keeping fan noise around 32dB.
Despite the fan, the device retains IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.
Design and Other Features
The Space Silver variant has an aluminum CNC frame with an anodized finish, resembling the Redmi K90 Max.
Other features include stereo speakers and an X-axis linear motor.
Redmi has kept flagship gaming features intact while differentiating the K90 Ultra through its Snapdragon platform and expected pricing around 3,000 Yuan, appealing to gamers seeking premium hardware at a lower price point.
