The New York Police Department will not pursue charges against the woman who stole a Knicks-themed public trash bin during the team's victory celebrations.

Angie Báez, 40, was identified as the person seen in viral videos emptying the orange and blue bin onto a street before walking away with it.

She later smiled with the bin on a subway.

TMZ asked NYPD whether they planned to cite or charge Báez.

The department responded that there is "no complaint report on file with the information provided," indicating they are not pursuing the case.

However, Báez faced consequences from her employer. She worked as a senior director at JPMorgan Chase but was fired on Tuesday over the incident.

TMZ has reached out to Báez for comment but has not received a response. The whereabouts of the stolen bin remain unknown.
