Rollme has unveiled the Hero D5, a rugged smartwatch that brings dual-band GPS and offline mapping capabilities at an affordable price point under $100.

Specifications and Features

The Hero D5 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 x 466 resolution, protected by Panda Glass for scratch resistance.

The case is made from zinc alloy and two-color molded plastic.

Three physical buttons on the side facilitate navigation, especially when wearing gloves or in wet conditions.

The watch meets MIL-STD 810H durability standards and carries 5ATM and IP69K water resistance ratings, making it suitable for swimming and high-pressure water exposure.

For positioning, the Hero D5 uses dual-band, six-satellite connectivity, supporting GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, NAVIC, and QZSS networks.

It also supports offline map downloads and includes altimeter, barometer, and compass (ABC) sensors.

Internally, the watch is powered by an ATS3085S chip and a VC30F sensor for health monitoring.

It tracks heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep stages, and stress levels continuously.

The software offers over 170 sports modes with automatic recognition for six activities like walking, running, and cycling.

A built-in waterproof speaker and microphone enable Bluetooth 5.3 hands-free calls.

The 600mAh battery provides up to 21 days of normal usage, 10 days under heavy use, and up to 60 days in battery saver mode.
