Oppo is preparing to launch the Reno 16 series in China on May 25.
Ahead of the official unveiling, a model believed to be the standard Oppo Reno 16 has appeared on Geekbench.

The listing reveals key hardware details, including the chipset and performance metrics.
Geekbench listing details
An Oppo smartphone with model number PMM110 was spotted on Geekbench. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6899 chipset.
The chipset features one prime core clocked at 3.40GHz, three performance cores at 3.20GHz, and four efficiency cores at 2.20GHz.
Graphics are handled by a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU.
These specifications suggest the Dimensity 8500 chipset could power the phone.

However, some reports indicate it might instead use the newer Dimensity 8550, which is expected to have similar CPU and GPU configurations with minor internal improvements.
The listing also shows the Reno 16 comes with 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 16.
In Geekbench tests, the device scored 1,611 points in single-core and 6,402 points in multi-core tests.

According to previous reports, the Oppo Reno 16 may feature a 6.32-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device is also expected to arrive with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

For photography, it may include a 50-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera setup: a 200-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom.
The Dimensity chipset is likely paired with a large 6,700mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging.
Other rumored features include an IP68/IP69-rated body and support for Oppo's electronic selfie mirror accessory called Oppo Bubble.
The Oppo Reno 16 will be available in three colors: Heartbeat Star (white), Galaxy Purple, and Midnight Black.
