Oppo has confirmed key camera details for its upcoming Reno 16 series, set to launch on May 25 in China.
A company poster reveals that both the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro will share a triple camera setup led by a 200-megapixel main sensor.

The rear camera system also includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, accompanied by a smart LED flash.
However, fine print on the poster notes that camera hardware may differ between the two models.
Reports suggest the sensors could be similar to those used in the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro.
Beyond imaging, the Reno 16 is expected to sport a 6.32-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
It is tipped to be powered by the Dimensity 8550 chipset, paired with a 6,700mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging.

The Reno 16 Pro, meanwhile, may feature a larger 6.78-inch OLED panel with the same resolution and refresh rate.
That model could run on the Dimensity 9500s chipset and pack a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Both phones are expected to come in 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB variants.
Color options may include Heartbeat Star (white) and Midnight Black.

The Reno 16 could also offer 16GB+256GB and 16GB+1TB variants, along with a Galaxy Purple shade.
The Reno 16 Pro may add a Dream Blue color option.
Both devices will support the Oppo Bubble, a selfie mirror accessory.
For global markets, the Reno 16 series has started receiving certifications, suggesting a launch window between June and July.
Reports indicate that the camera sensors in the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro may be similar to those used in the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro.
