A Xiaomi foldable phone with model number 2608BPX34C has appeared in network certification records. The listing confirms 5G connectivity and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) support.

The same model number was previously linked to Xiaomi's upcoming foldable.

According to earlier rumors, the device may be called the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 or the Xiaomi 17 Fold.

Tipster Digital Chat Station suggests the foldable could be the first phone to run HyperOS 4.

The claim is based on the fact that the Xiaomi 18 series has not yet appeared in certification records, making a launch before the foldable unlikely.

HyperOS 4 is expected to integrate AI directly into system apps and support the miclaw AI agent.

The foldable is also rumored to be powered by Xiaomi's in-house XRING O3 chip.

Previous reports indicate the Mix Fold 5 will feature a 200-megapixel camera and a wider inner display than the Mix Fold 4.

The price could be around 10,000 yuan (roughly $1,380), a 10% increase over the Mix Fold 4's launch price of 8,999 yuan.

With certification underway, an official announcement may be imminent.
