Belkin has launched a new charger in China: the Belkin 45W Retractable GaN Wall Charger (model WCH023).
It is priced at 199 yuan ($28) and is now available on JD. com.
Built-in Retractable Cable and Design
The charger comes with a built-in USB-C cable that extends up to 0.8 meters and retracts neatly into its rounded white housing.
Belkin rates the retraction mechanism for 20,000 cycles, while the cable withstands 5,000 bends and a 10kg load.
It features foldable prongs and a compact size of 65 x 52 x 38mm, weighing just 145 grams.
The outer shell is made from 90% post-consumer recycled plastic.
Charging Performance and Protocols
The charger delivers up to 45W to a single device via the integrated cable or the secondary USB-C port.
When charging two devices simultaneously, power splits into 25W and 20W.
It supports USB PD 3.1 and PPS fast-charging protocols.
Belkin estimates it can charge an iPhone 17 Pro to 50% in 20 minutes, or a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to 50% in 25 minutes.
Inside, GaN technology enables 92% power conversion efficiency and runs about 10°C cooler than older chargers.
Active temperature monitoring and safeguards against overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuits are included.
