Asus has quietly launched a new ultra-budget portable Bluetooth speaker in China, the Adol PO102, priced at just 139 yuan (roughly $20).
Despite the low cost, the device comes with a surprisingly modern set of features.
Design and build
The speaker combines a fabric grille with a non-slip silicone shell for a secure grip.
A built-in carrying strap allows users to attach it to a backpack or hang it up.
It is available in three colors: Meteorite Gray, Iris Purple, and Sage Green.
Weighing 200 grams and measuring 109.5 x 82.5 x 38mm, the Adol PO102 is compact enough for a bag or large coat pocket.
Audio and connectivity
The speaker delivers 6W of power, suitable for personal listening or small gatherings.
It supports TWS pairing to link two units for stereo sound or network multiple compatible speakers.
Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.0 with a 10-meter range. Auracast broadcast audio support enables wireless audio sharing across multiple compatible devices simultaneously.
For offline playback, a microSD (TF) card slot is included. A built-in microphone supports hands-free calls.
Battery and durability
A 2,600mAh battery provides up to 10 hours of continuous playback at 50% volume. Charging via USB-C takes between two and three hours for a full charge.
The IP67 rating ensures complete dust protection and the ability to withstand submersion in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes.
