Xiaomi has unveiled its first portable espresso maker under the Mijia brand. The Mijia Portable Coffee Machine is a battery-powered device designed for travel, camping, or office use.
It resembles a vacuum flask but functions like a standard espresso machine.

The device measures 24.5 cm in height and 7.15 cm in width, fitting into a backpack or car cup holder.
Specifications and Features
The machine uses a 20-bar electromagnetic pump for extraction. It features a dual-compatible brewing chamber that accepts standard coffee capsules or freshly ground coffee.
A ceramic heating element and PID algorithm maintain a steady water temperature of 92°C (197°F).
The device supports both hot and cold extraction, with a standard brew cycle taking about 45 seconds.

Power comes from three 2,500mAh batteries totaling 7,500mAh.
Charging via a 45W USB-C port brings the battery from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes, or full charge in 80 minutes.
It can also run directly from a portable power bank.
Battery life depends on water temperature.
With pre-heated water, the machine uses battery only for the pump, producing up to 400 cups per charge.

Using room-temperature water and the internal heater yields just over three cups per charge.
The exterior has an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. The brewing chamber is detachable for easy rinsing.
Included accessories are a carrying case, aluminum alloy stand, metal coffee basket, scoop, and double-wall stainless steel cup.
Pricing and Availability
The Mijia Portable Coffee Machine retails for 799 yuan (about $118).

It launches first in China via crowdfunding on Xiaomi Mall and Xiaomi Youpin starting June 17, with an early-bird price of 559 yuan (about $82).
