Xiaomi's upcoming foldable, the Mix Fold 5, is shaping up to be a premium device with a price tag to match.
According to a new leak from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the phone will cost around 10,000 yuan (approximately $1,380).
That's a significant increase compared to the Mix Fold 4, which launched at 8,999 yuan (around $1,240).
The price hike suggests Xiaomi is positioning the Mix Fold 5 as a high-end flagship.
Key specs confirmed by prototype leak
The tipster revealed that the prototype still features a 7.5–7.6-inch folding display with seamless crease technology.
The design is described as minimalist and runway-inspired.
On the camera front, the leak reconfirms a 200MP main shooter. This aligns with earlier database entries pointing to a 200MP Samsung S5KHP5 sensor.
The foldable is also expected to pack a 6000mAh battery (give or take) with wireless charging support.
Full water resistance and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor are also said to be included.
While not mentioned in this leak, previous reports indicate the device will be powered by Xiaomi's in-house Xring O3 chipset.
The Mix Fold 5 is targeting a Q3 2026 launch.
No official launch date has been announced yet. With the prototype seemingly stable, more details should emerge in the coming weeks.
