The Samsung Galaxy A27 is expected to launch in Europe at significantly higher prices than its predecessor, according to a new leak.

The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is tipped to cost €349, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant may reach €439.

Compared to the Galaxy A26, which launched at €299 and €369 for the same configurations, the A27 represents a €50 increase for the entry model and a €70 jump for the top-tier version.

Specs Downgrade Raises Questions

Rumored specifications for the Galaxy A27 include a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset (replacing the Exynos 1380), a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging.

However, the ultrawide camera is said to drop from 8MP to just 5MP, and microSD card support appears to be removed entirely.

These changes, combined with the price hike, may disappoint potential buyers.

The price increase is attributed to rising memory chip costs, which have already affected other smartphone brands.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A27 between June and August 2026, with possible promotional pricing or carrier deals to offset the higher retail price.
