Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Handheld Fan, a portable cooling device priced at 199 yuan (about $29). Pre-orders are now open on JD.
com, with official sales starting June 10.

The fan stands out with a 100-level stepless speed adjustment system and a battery rated for up to 40 hours of use on a single charge.
Design and Portability
The device measures 63 x 64 x 167 mm and weighs 260 grams, similar to a typical smartphone.
It comes with a detachable shoulder strap for hands-free carrying.

A sliding power switch replaces the usual push-button design. This helps prevent accidental activation when stored in a bag.
Performance and Features
Inside, a DC motor and mixed-flow impeller deliver an airflow of 250m³/h and a maximum wind speed of 8.5m/s.
The fan can project air up to 5 meters, making it suitable for outdoor activities like camping or queuing.

At top speed, noise levels are rated at ≤69dB(A). A built-in LED digital display on the handle shows the current speed level and remaining battery percentage.

Charging is via USB Type-C with fast charging support.
