Caviar, the luxury customization company known for extravagant Apple device modifications, has announced a new collection that integrates high-end Swiss watches directly into the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The Masters of Time series features a built-in Watch Vault, a mechanical quick-release system that allows users to securely mount compatible watches in the phone's back panel.

Design and Mechanism

The Watch Vault uses a short-thread ring to lock a watch into place without requiring any tools.

A simple twist of a lever releases the watch for wear on a standard strap.

To prevent scratches, the mounting cavity is lined with a soft protective material.

When the watch is removed, a decorative metal plate fills the empty slot to maintain a seamless appearance.

The collection launches with two single-edition models.

The Celestial edition features a Patek Philippe Celestial watch and a chassis made of 18-karat white gold, blue enamel, diamonds, and Muonionalusta meteorite.

The Portugieser model houses an IWC Portugieser Tourbillon Mystère Squelette, with a white gold body, hand-engraving, and diamonds mixed with orange sapphires to match the tourbillon.

Caviar also showcased concept renders for versions accommodating a Jacob & Co. Casino Tourbillon and a Rolex Sky-Dweller.

For owners of Swiss watches with a case diameter between 42 and 44 mm, the company offers custom chassis builds.
