OnePlus is reportedly testing a new camera setup for its upcoming OnePlus 16 flagship, according to a leak from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS).
The prototype features a 200-megapixel large-sensor primary camera, paired with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

This configuration differs from earlier rumors that suggested the OnePlus 16 would include a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera instead.
DCS asked followers whether they would prefer a 200-megapixel main camera or a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto, indicating the final decision has not been made.

Given the OnePlus 16 is expected to remain performance-focused, the company is unlikely to include two 200-megapixel cameras on the device.

The OnePlus 16 is said to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate, along with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, it may pack the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip and a massive 9,000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The device is expected to run Android 17-based ColorOS 17 in China and OxygenOS 17 globally.

Other rumored features include an X-axis bionic vibration motor, symmetrical dual speakers, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, and IP68/69-rated dust and water resistance.
