Timex has introduced a new addition to its Peanuts collaboration: the Peanuts x Timex Weekender Astronomy.
The 40mm timepiece is priced at $189 and is currently available for pre-order via Timex's US website.
The watch, model number TW2Y84900, uses the standard Weekender case but features a celestial theme. Its deep blue dial showcases Snoopy against a night-sky pattern.
For readability, the watch includes full Arabic numerals, a magnified date window, and luminescent hands.
It also incorporates Timex's Indiglo backlight, which illuminates the entire dial when the crown is pressed.
Build and specifications
The Weekender Astronomy has a 40mm low-lead brass case with a polished silver-tone finish. It measures 9.5mm thick and 48.5mm lug-to-lug, weighing 57.03 grams.
A mineral crystal protects the dial, and the watch runs on a quartz movement powered by a CR2016 battery.
It comes with a 20mm blue slip-thru leather strap fitting wrists from 150mm to 205mm.
Water resistance is rated at 50 meters, suitable for splashes and light swimming but not snorkeling or diving.
Timex also recently launched other Snoopy-themed retro chronographs and Expedition Acadia models.
