Lenovo has introduced the ThinkVision P27UD-40, a 27-inch monitor aimed at professionals and creators.
It is now available in China at a price of 3,999 yuan (about $596).
The display features an IPS panel with 3840 x 2160 resolution and a variable refresh rate from 24Hz to 120Hz.
This adaptive rate ensures smooth scrolling and animations while saving power during static tasks.
The panel offers 350 nits of typical brightness, a 1,500:1 contrast ratio, and a 4ms gray-to-gray response time in extreme mode.
It uses an 8-bit + FRC panel to deliver 10-bit color depth.
Color coverage includes 99% of sRGB and BT. 709, plus 98% of DCI-P3.
Each unit is factory calibrated to a Delta E of less than 2, with calibration reports included in the box.
The monitor also incorporates hardware-level low blue light technology, certified by TÜV Rheinland and Eyesafe. It reduces harmful blue light by about 35% without compromising color accuracy.
Connectivity and Charging
Connectivity is a key highlight, featuring a Thunderbolt 4 upstream port with 40Gbps bandwidth and up to 140W Power Delivery via PD 3.1 EPR.
This allows charging high-performance 15-inch and 16-inch laptops over a single cable.
A second Thunderbolt 4 output enables daisy-chaining additional monitors.
Other ports include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 in and out, and a built-in USB hub with four USB-A 5Gbps ports, a USB-C port with 15W charging, and a USB-B upstream.
For networking, there is a 2.5GbE Ethernet jack supporting Intel vPro, PXE, and Wake-on-LAN.
The monitor also includes hardware KVM and eKVM switches for controlling two computers with one keyboard and mouse, plus PiP and PbP modes.
The stand offers 155mm height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and 90-degree pivot, and it supports 100x100mm VESA mounting.
