Early benchmark results for Samsung's upcoming Exynos 2700 processor have surfaced, offering a glimpse into the performance of the Galaxy S27 series.
The chip scored 4,328 in single-core and 14,700 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 6.7.1, according to an internal benchmark list.
These numbers are significantly higher than an earlier public listing from April, which showed 2,603 single-core and 10,350 multi-core scores on Geekbench 6.6.0.
However, direct comparison is not possible due to different software versions and a more mature sample in the newer test.
New chip architecture and features
The Exynos 2700 reportedly features a 10-core CPU setup arranged in a 1+4+1+4 configuration.
One cluster includes a single Arm C1-Ultra core and four C1-Pro cores, while the other has a C2-Ultra core paired with four C2-Pro cores.
This mix of older and newer Arm designs aims to balance peak performance and sustained efficiency.
On the graphics side, the chip is expected to use an Xclipse 970 GPU, along with a dedicated NPU for on-device AI tasks.
Support for LPDDR6 memory is also mentioned, providing higher bandwidth for next-generation workloads.
Samsung is widely expected to use the Exynos 2700 in the Galaxy S27, S27+, and S27 Pro, built on Samsung Foundry's improved SF2P 2nm process.
These are early test numbers, not final production results, but they suggest Samsung is making a strong push to compete with other flagship processors.
Real-device benchmarks will be needed to determine the Exynos 2700's true competitiveness when the Galaxy S27 series launches early next year.
