Huawei has officially launched the Router X1 Pro Gaming Edition in China.

The new model focuses on gaming performance while retaining core hardware from the standard Router X1 Pro.

The router is now available for pre-order at 666 yuan, approximately $98.

Key Specifications and Features

The Router X1 Pro Gaming Edition supports Huawei's Wi-Fi 7+ technology. It promises improved wall penetration, lower latency, and better interference resistance.

Wi-Fi 7+ uses weak-signal dual Wi-Fi acceleration and dynamic narrow-bandwidth technology.

Multi-Link Operation (MLO) allows devices to connect to both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously for faster, more stable connections.

The router has a cylindrical design with an 11-antenna array for 360-degree signal coverage.

It is powered by Huawei's self-developed Lingxiao SoC with an embedded CPU to reduce network latency.

Four 2.5G Ethernet ports are included for gaming PCs, consoles, and other high-speed devices. Huawei says these ports are suitable for gigabit-class broadband and large file transfers.

The Router X1 Pro Gaming Edition also features a built-in Star Flash gateway and runs HarmonyOS 4.

It includes Huawei's Game Turbo engine and a free 40-day NetEase UU Accelerator membership.

Huawei originally introduced the Router X1 Pro last year. The gaming edition builds on that model with a new design and gaming-oriented enhancements.
