They share the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, but key differences in display quality, charging speed, software, and ecosystem integration may sway your decision.

Design and Display

Both tablets are nearly identical in physical design. They feature slim 5.9mm bodies, weigh 672g, and use premium aluminum construction.

The OnePlus model adds a glass front panel, while OPPO emphasizes keyboard ecosystem support.

The OnePlus Pad 4 feels slightly more premium due to its refined finish. OPPO's keyboard integration, however, appeals more to productivity-focused users.

Both tablets have 13.2-inch LCD panels with a 144Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 1000 nits.

The OnePlus Pad 4 gains an advantage with Dolby Vision support and a higher 2400 × 3392 resolution, delivering sharper visuals and better HDR content.

Multimedia performance is excellent on both thanks to eight-speaker systems, but OnePlus adds Hi-Res Audio certification, making movies and streaming more immersive.

Performance and Software

Performance is effectively identical. Both use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, Adreno 840 GPU, and UFS 4.1 storage.

Everyday tasks, gaming, and heavy workloads are handled effortlessly.

The main difference is software. OnePlus ships OxygenOS 16, which is cleaner and less cluttered.

OPPO's ColorOS 16 offers more customization and deeper integration for existing OPPO users.

OPPO gains a slight edge with a 16GB RAM option, beneficial for power users. OnePlus counters with a more streamlined interface that feels lighter in daily use.

Battery and Accessories

Battery capacity is identical at 13,380mAh, ensuring long endurance for work and media.

The key difference is charging speed: OnePlus Pad 4 supports 80W wired charging, while OPPO Pad 5 Pro tops out at 67W.

OnePlus users will spend less time plugged in.

Both tablets support stylus accessories. OPPO places stronger emphasis on productivity with official keyboard support and deeper ecosystem integration.
