Instant Backup for Routers
The device houses an 8,000mAh battery made from two EV-grade 4,000mAh cells.
Portronics claims it can power a typical router for four to five hours on a full charge.
Its key feature is zero-delay switchover when mains power drops. This prevents the router from rebooting and keeps the internet connection active.

The unit is a small off-white box that sits next to networking equipment.
Setup involves plugging the router's power adapter into the UPS and connecting the UPS to the router.
Multiple Output Ports
The Kinetics 8K includes 12V, 9V, and 5V DC outputs to support most routers and fiber modems.
It also has USB-A and USB-C ports that output at 5V/2.1A, suitable for charging phones or earbuds during a blackout.

Portronics added ventilation holes to prevent overheating during extended use. The device also includes overcharge and voltage drop protection.

The Kinetics 8K has a listed MRP of Rs. 2,999 but is currently available at a launch price of Rs.
1,699. It comes with a one-year warranty.
