The contribution is reportedly the largest single donation the fund has received from an individual or company.
The funds come after catastrophic flash floods struck Nepal on August 26, triggered by a Himalayan glacier collapse.
The disaster sent water and debris through the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river basins, devastating villages, roads, bridges, and hydropower plants.
The death toll has surpassed 1,300, with thousands still unaccounted for.

Apple CEO Tim Cook also pledged support, confirming the company would donate to relief and rebuilding efforts.
Cook did not disclose the amount or specify recipient organizations, and made the announcement just before stepping down as CEO on September 1.
