Carole Radziwill is speaking out about her name appearing in the Epstein files, saying she was completely unaware of the criminal activities of her former friend, Ghislaine Maxwell.
During a Q&A with Bravo host Andy Cohen on Tuesday to promote season 16 of The Real Housewives of New York, Radziwill addressed her past association with Maxwell.

Andy Cohen brought up Radziwill's return to the show, noting she had mentioned it was an opportunity after her name surfaced in the Epstein files.
Radziwill was a main cast member from 2012 to 2018.
In the clip, Radziwill admits her name is listed as a friend of Maxwell in the files, along with many others.
She says she doesn't shy away from the topic because it's important to discuss.

Radziwill stated, "Obviously I didn't know anything as no one, you know, 20 years ago would have known anything."
She found it hard to accept that Maxwell, a "friend at some point," was "a horrible, horrible person doing horrible things."
She also said she was "really nervous" when she first saw her name in the files, adding that "there's real victims and survivors that were brave enough to really stand up to these very, very powerful people."

Background on Epstein and Maxwell
Federal prosecutors say Epstein and Maxwell ran an international child sex trafficking ring.
Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial, and Maxwell was convicted in 2022 and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
In March, Radziwill addressed the issue in a New York Times interview, saying she met Maxwell through social circles in NYC and that their friendship ended long before Maxwell's crimes came to light.
She said she did not know Epstein.

Radziwill's connection to the Epstein files will be explored in the upcoming season of RHONY, with a trailer showing her discussing Epstein with other cast members.
