Novak Djokovic is on the mend after a grueling U. S.
Open match that saw him vomit on court.

The 39-year-old tennis legend told TMZ Sports on Tuesday that he's feeling "better. Bit better.
A bit better."
His health update came less than 48 hours after he lost a five-set marathon to unseeded Argentine Mariano Navone.

The match lasted four hours and 36 minutes, and Djokovic vomited multiple times during the contest.
It was the first time Djokovic lost in the opening round of the U. S.
Open.

Despite his struggles, the New York crowd rallied behind him, chanting his name throughout the match.
Though the support wasn't enough to secure a win, Djokovic expressed his gratitude.
"Always love. Always love, and gratitude for the support," he said.

Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, is not yet at 100 percent but is recovering.
