Jurors in the Lindsay Clancy murder case told the judge Tuesday morning that they cannot reach a unanimous verdict on any of the counts.
However, the judge is not ready to declare a mistrial and has ordered them to continue deliberating.

The jury has spent 18 hours deliberating before reporting their deadlock.
They are tasked with deciding whether Clancy is guilty of murder, manslaughter, or not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility.
The lack of criminal responsibility defense is essentially an insanity defense.

Some jurors appeared to entertain this defense when they requested to see the knife allegedly used by Clancy to slash herself and the pill bottles.
Background of the Case
Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, has argued she was suffering from postpartum psychosis when her three children—Cora, Dawson, and Callan—died at their Massachusetts home in January 2023.

Prosecutors maintain that Clancy was criminally responsible for the deaths.
Clancy has pleaded not guilty, but she acknowledges killing the children.
Her ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, testified, describing the devastating discovery of his children and his 911 call, which was played in court.
