Built-in dosimeter watch
Instead of a simple rugged case, Caviar embedded a physical SIG-RM1208 dosimeter watch into the back of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.
This is a real Geiger-Müller counter that measures gamma radiation levels in the surrounding area.
The watch module sits centrally on the back panel, featuring a digital display for radiation readings and an analog watch face powered by a Swiss Ronda 763 quartz movement.

Industrial titanium design
To match the hardware, Caviar replaced the standard glass back with a heavy-duty titanium shell.

The design includes exposed screws, thick metal panels, a red center line, and a raised radiation hazard symbol near the bottom.
The added metal and watch mechanism make the phone significantly thicker and heavier than a standard iPhone.
Pricing and availability
The base price of $13,130 includes a 256GB iPhone 17 Pro, with higher costs for more storage or the Pro Max variant.
