Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 17 Pro for global markets, joining the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max in the expanded Note 17 lineup.
The new model replaces last year's Redmi Note 15 Pro and brings notable upgrades in battery, charging, and performance.

The phone features a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1,280 x 2,772-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It supports 12-bit color, reaches up to 3,500 nits of brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Performance and durability
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 17 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset.
It comes with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB, with most variants using UFS 3.1 storage.

The device boasts IP66 and IP68 ratings, having passed a 3-meter underwater test lasting up to 72 hours.
However, it lacks the IP69K rating found on the Pro Max model.
Weighing 183.7 grams and measuring 164 x 75.4 x 7.9mm, the phone includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a claimed 300% volume boost.
It supports Bluetooth 5.1 but does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For photography, the Redmi Note 17 Pro sports a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front camera.
It runs HyperOS 3 out of the box and promises six years of security updates.
The standout feature is its 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery, which delivers up to 28 hours of video playback.
It supports 67W wired charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
