Xiaomi has introduced two new air purifiers in India, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 and the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact, targeting different segments of the market.
The larger model is designed for living rooms, while the compact version suits desks or small bedrooms.

Pricing and specifications
The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 is priced at ₹19,999 (about $210) and offers a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 443 m³/h, covering spaces up to 940 square feet.
It features a five-stage filtration system that includes a primary filter, activated carbon layer, UVC sterilization, and a negative ion generator.
The Purifier 6 also has five sensors for temperature, humidity, dust, PM2.5, and PM1, with the PM1 sensor detecting ultra-fine particles smaller than 1 micron.

Both purifiers use Xiaomi's proprietary electrostatic filter media, which uses melt-blown fibers with an electrostatic charge to allow more airflow with less resistance.
This design aims to reduce fan noise and energy consumption while capturing 99.97% of airborne particles.
The smaller Mijia Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact costs ₹7,999 (about $84) and has a CADR of 230 m³/h, covering up to 400 square feet.

It uses a standard three-layer filter setup and focuses on quiet operation, with a sleep mode that reduces noise to 20dB.
Both purifiers connect to the Xiaomi Home app, allowing users to check real-time air quality, adjust fan speeds, set schedules, and monitor filter degradation.
They also support voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Availability
Both models come in white and will be available starting September 2, 2026, through Xiaomi's website, Amazon India, Flipkart, Blinkit, and physical retail stores.
