Natalie Harp, a special assistant to President Trump, wrote intimate letters to him during a 2023 golf trip, expressing total devotion and apologizing for perceived missteps.

The two letters, published by The Daily Beast, were written during or after Trump's May 2023 golf outings in Scotland and Ireland.

In one letter, Harp apologized for panicking when she thought she was left behind at an airport, calling Trump from a van at Customs without her passport.

She also apologized for stepping onto the golf course instead of riding in a cart, pleading for forgiveness if she caused any trouble.

Harp wrote that she wanted things to always be right between them and that she had been distracted all week, sometimes forgetting to eat and sleep.

She feared Trump's opinion of her had lowered after others made remarks, noting she only wanted to bring him joy.

She signed the first letter by calling Trump her 'Guardian and Protector in this life.'

Second Letter Shows Burnout and Longing

In the second letter, Harp thanked Trump for helping her 'unplug' during their time on the golf course, away from machines and time.

She referenced her nickname 'Human Printer' in the White House, where she quickly prints favorable Trump articles for him.

Harp wrote that Trump noticed her occasional 'slightly negative' mood due to approaching burnout.

She envied those whose job seemed to be to talk with Trump and look pretty, insisting, 'I want that job!!'

She felt like an 'in-betweener' caught between staff and those who enjoy talking to Trump on the plane or at dinner.

The experience reminded her of her hated job as a talk show host for One America News Network.

Harp ended the letter by telling Trump he has the 'absolute right to cuss me out, if need be, when I deserve it, because no one knows or cares about me more.'
