Qualcomm is preparing two flagship chips for 2026, and a new leak suggests their marketing names.
Tipster Digital Chat Station reports that the SM8950 will be called Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, while the SM8975 will be Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.

Qualcomm has confirmed it will release two flagship chips this year, but official names remain unannounced.
Expected Specifications
Both chips are expected to use TSMC's 2nm process, a first for Qualcomm's flagship mobile chips.

The standard model may feature 2+3+3 Oryon cores, a shared 16MB L2 cache, and an Adreno 845 GPU.
The higher-tier variant could pack an Adreno 850 GPU with 18MB of dedicated GMEM, a 50% jump over the Gen 5.
It may also support LPDDR6 memory and reach peak clock speeds near 5GHz, a first for a smartphone chip.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit is scheduled for September 22-24 in Hawaii, earlier than usual.
