Inner Screen Replacement Costs
The most expensive repair is a full inner screen module replacement.
For the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, this costs $639 (or Rs 59,670).
The standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 comes in at $579 (or Rs 54,130), while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is $359 (or Rs 26,760).
Outer Screen Repairs Are Cheaper
Replacing the cover display costs $149 on the Fold 8 Ultra, $139 on the Fold 8, and $129 on the Flip 8.

These outer screens are simpler than the folding panels, which explains the lower prices.
Comparison with Previous Models
Compared to last year, there is a noticeable jump on the Fold side.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7's inner screen repair was listed at $449, significantly lower than the Fold 8 models.
Samsung notes that repair categories differ this year, so it's not a perfect one-to-one comparison.
On the Flip side, the Galaxy Z Flip 7's inner repair was $249, making the Flip 8's $359 a clear step up.

Outer screen prices have not moved as much.
The Fold 7 outer repair was the same $139 as this year's Fold 8, while the Flip 7 outer repair was $119, only $10 less than the Flip 8's $129.
Overall, the new pricing shows that while outer displays remain relatively cheap to fix, a damaged inner screen on premium Fold models can cost almost as much as a mid-range phone.
Users of the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Flip 8 might consider Samsung Care+ to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
