The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 represent two different approaches to flagship foldables.

The Pixel focuses on display quality, cameras, and Google's smart software. Samsung emphasizes raw performance, multitasking, and productivity.

Design and Display

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold features a glass-ceramic front, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back, and aluminum frame with IP68 protection.

Its design prioritizes stronger dust and water resistance.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 uses Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and Armor Aluminum with IP48 protection.

It also introduces Flex Titanium technology for a more refined build.

The Pixel has an 8-inch LTPO OLED inner display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and up to 3600 nits peak brightness.

Its 1:1 aspect ratio is great for reading and multitasking.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 has a 7.6-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel with 120Hz, HDR10+, and 3000 nits peak brightness.

Winner: Google. The Pixel offers a larger, brighter inner display and stronger IP68 protection.

Performance and Battery

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is powered by Google's Tensor G6 3nm chipset with 16GB RAM. It runs Android 17 with seven major OS updates.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with up to 16GB RAM.

It's better for demanding gaming and intensive multitasking, and One UI 9 includes Samsung DeX.

The Pixel packs a 4806mAh battery with 30W wired and 25W wireless charging. The Galaxy has a 4800mAh battery but supports faster 45W wired and 20W wireless charging.
