NFL star Trent Williams is being sued by a car dealer who claims he stopped making lease payments on a Porsche 911 years ago.
OpenRoad Auto Group, based in Washington, filed the lawsuit, alleging that in 2011 it leased a 2018 Porsche 911 to Williams.
According to the company, Williams agreed to make 48 monthly payments, with the lease set to expire on August 31, 2025.
OpenRoad claims Williams made only the first two payments in August and September 2021, totaling $10,617.26, and then stopped.
The company says Williams authorized direct debit from his bank account but closed the account shortly after signing the release.
OpenRoad also says it doesn't know the car's current location, suggesting Williams may have sold it to another company, which then sold it to someone else.
The dealer is seeking past-due lease payments of $244,199.28, plus additional charges, fees, and costs.
The lawsuit includes claims of breach of contract and fraud.
Williams, who signed a two-year, $50 million contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers in April, has not yet responded to requests for comment.
