goalkeeper Hope Solo is offering fans a rare chance to own a piece of soccer history.

She is auctioning more than 45 items from her personal collection through Lelands.
The standout pieces include the match-worn, signed, and photo-matched jersey and shorts from the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup final, where the U.
S. defeated Japan.
Her championship ring from that title run is also up for grabs.
According to the auction house, this is the most significant women's soccer memorabilia ever made available to the public.

Also included are the Golden Glove award Solo earned as the tournament's top goalkeeper, having allowed just three goals in seven matches.
Her match-worn jerseys from the quarterfinal win over China and the semifinal victory against Germany are part of the collection as well.
Explaining her decision to sell, Solo said, "With soccer's popularity in the U. S.
reaching new heights around this World Cup, it felt like the right time to let these pieces of my career become part of this sport's history in new hands."

She added, "I hope whoever adds these pieces to their collections feels the same connection to this game that I have."
Solo's on-field achievements are remarkable.
She won two Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012 and holds the record for most international shutouts by a goalkeeper with 102.
In 2023, she was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit SheBelongs, a nonprofit that uses soccer to create opportunities for young girls.

Bidding is open now and will close on August 15. It remains to be seen how much collectors will pay for these pieces of soccer history.
